Weight Loss Plans

Dr. Amir’s Weight Loss and Metabolism Center uses a different approach to managing obesity, a chronic disease. We use individualized plans with meal replacement, targeted lifestyle interventions and, when appropriate, we prescribe obesity medications. We also screen for possible inherited conditions that lead to weight gain.  

There is no one size fits all with our weight loss plans.

Changes to food and eating habits feature prominently in each plan and may include:

Home Cooking: You prepare all your own meals at home following guidelines which we provide.

Meal Replacement: You replace specific meals each day with delicious shakes, soups, puddings, snacks and bars that can be adjusted to your individual nutrition needs.

Combination of Home Cooking and Meal Replacement: A mix of home cooked food and meal replacement.

In addition, our plans all include personal medical attention from Dr. Rotem Amir herself to guide progress, make adjustments and, if required, prescribe medication.

The goal of our program is create long term weight loss success and healthy weight maintenance. We specifically avoid very low calorie, no carb and similar diets that do not have a medical track record of long term success.
